I am an existing hi member living in Hong Kong. Do I need to create a new hi account?
Nope, just log in with your credentials on the site - hkx.hi.com
Can I continue to use the hi App while in Hong Kong?
Yes, to continue earning yield on your assets. To buy and sell crypto assets, you must use the new Exchange
Do I require separate funds for the trading account?
Under the new regulations, all you’ll need to do is transfer your assets over from your hi Crypto Account to your HKX Account, which should take no longer than three seconds.
Please note that the HKX Account is solely for trading purposes on hkx.hi.com
How do I transfer funds to my HKX Account?
Follow these steps;
Log in to your account on hkx.hi.com/
Click on your User Profile at the top right of the page and tap on Assets
Under ‘HKX Account’, select the currency and transfer your assets of choice over
What KYC Level do I need to be to trade using the hi Exchange for Hong Kong?
Please note that you’ll need to be at least KYC Level 1 in order to be able to withdraw funds
Are there any trading fees?
Currently a minimal fee of 0.2% is charged. Trading fees are subject to change as the full exchange functionality is deployed.
