How to order

Get ready to meet the hi Debit Physical Mastercard, available in 6 variants based on your membership tier. Use your card in-store or online to spend crypto & fiat at 90 million+ merchants worldwide where Mastercard is accepted.

All eligible users will need to order a new hi card. You can order one in a second from the Card tab in the App and get it delivered to your doorstep.

Just follow these steps;

  1. Tap on the ‘+’ icon at the top right-hand corner of the page to order your physical card

  2. Input the address* to which you’d like to receive your hi Debit Mastercard and confirm the card issuance fees

  3. That’s it! Once your order has been processed, the estimated arrival time could take anywhere between 14 to 30 business days from the order date

How to Activate

Just follow these steps;

1. Log in to your hi Mobile App and go to the Card tab
2. Swipe left
3. Hit 'Activate Card'
4. Enter the CVC of your card found on the reverse of your hi Debit Card
5. Boom. All done - time to get spending!

Get your hands on the hi Debit Mastercard now. If you have yet to create an account, then download the app here to get started!

Once you have downloaded the app, follow the steps displayed on-screen to create an account — choose your membership tier and your card will be shipped upon completion.

Please note that during our initial release only users based in the UK and Europe will be eligible to order the hi Debit Card. Rest assured, we have already begun negotiating with regulators about expanding our global coverage.


Am I eligible to receive the Physical Card?

Initially, the Card is available to members from countries in the EEA and UK. As a reminder, here's the full list of countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg,, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

Switzerland coming soon

As of 8th of October 2023, residents of the United Kingdom will not be eligible to spend Crypto or receive Spend Rewards / Rebates. Read the full notice here

I am an existing virtual cardholder - Is the Physical Card different from the Virtual Card?

Note that your Physical and Virtual Cards are two separate cards. Your spendable balance is made up of your Euro / Pounds balance and a selected secondary cryptocurrency balance. You can change your secondary currency at any time in the App.

Does my delivery address need to be the same as my KYC address?

Yes - this is to prevent fraudulent activity and ensure your Card arrives to you safely. If you'd like to update your address, please reach out to the member of the team.

How long will it take to receive my physical card?

You should receive your Card within 14 to 30 business days of the order being placed. You can check your card's estimated delivery date on the hi App. The date shown is an estimate, actual delivery may take a little longer. If the Card has not been delivered within 60 days of the order, please contact us via Live Chat.

Can I order multiple physical cards?

Not just yet! Initially a member can have 1 virtual card and 1 physical card. As we build out functionality and begin to offer NFT customizable cards later this year, members will be able to get multiple virtual and physical cards

What’s the Card issuance fee?

Take a look at the table for an overview of the fees based on membership tier. Upgrade your tier to get your delivery fee waived.
