To ensure your KYC (Know Your Customer) process goes smoothly, please follow these helpful tips when you capture your liveness photo. A successful check requires a clear, high-quality image, and these reminders will guide you through getting it just right!

1. Ensure Good Lighting

Find a space with good, even lighting. Natural light or bright indoor lighting works best. Avoid direct sunlight or harsh shadows, as they can distort your image. If you're indoors, position yourself so the light is coming from in front of you, not behind—this will help your face appear clearly in the photo.

2. Maintain Proper Distance

When taking your photo, hold the camera at arm's length, about 30-45 cm (~12-18 inches) away from your face. Be sure your face is centred and fully visible in the frame. Don’t get too close or too far from the camera, as this can affect the quality of the scan.

3. Avoid Reflections and Glares

Glare or reflections can interfere with the scan, so if you wear glasses, it’s best to remove them. Also, make sure there are no shiny objects or bright lights directly behind you that could cause unwanted glare in the photo.

4. Minimize Movement

Keep your face steady during the scan. If the app asks you to move your head or blink, do so slowly and smoothly to help the system capture your movements accurately. Quick movements may cause errors in the scan.

5. Remove Obstructions

For a clear and accurate scan, make sure nothing is covering your face. This means no hats, masks, or large accessories that might obscure your features.

By following these simple steps, you’ll make the liveness photo process easy and hassle-free! If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to try again or contact support for further assistance.
